Member Survey and Letter to Commissioner Busquin

The European Commission has written a White Paper entitled "Towards a European Research Area" stressing the need for better integration and the need to shape European research to improve competitiveness in the 21st Century. The EC has invited direct feedback on 5 specific questions. The MCFA wished to make an informed response to those questions which are of most concern to young mobile researchers and has created a survey of its members to provide supporting information.

The results of this survey have been incorporated into a letter sent to Mr. Philippe Busquin, the European Commissioner for Research.
