Project "International Talents meet Dutch Life Sciences" organized by BCFevent, Amsterdam 19-22 May 2008.

In this project we would like to invite up to 50 international talents for a four day programme to visit the Netherlands and explore the job opportunities Dutch Life Sciences organizations have to offer. Because of a contribution of our sponsor Amsterdam Innovation Motor, we can offer travel bursaries to the participants and also hotel and meal costs will be covered. Which makes this project very interesting, I believe, for Life Scientists who are interested in working in the Netherlands. This trip will take place from 19 to 22 May 2008 in Amsterdam.

We have started this project to help Dutch Life Sciences organizations, industry as well as academic organizations, to fill out their job openings and to promote the Netherlands as an attractive region to work and live.

 For this project we are looking for MSc, PhD, post-docs and other young professionals with a background in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Food or a related research area. Who are seriously interested in a career in the Netherlands and are resident outside the Netherlands. Students should obtain their degree no later than 1 January 2009. After registration two recruitment agencies will select 50 participants who will be invited for a free visit to the Netherlands.

Our organization has many experience in organizing career events. This year we will organize for the fourth time the Bio, Chemistry & Food Career Event in which almost 100 organisations and 2,000 visitors will participate.
